المبتكرة التي لا تتوقف... نورا المرعبي... قائدة التحول الرقمي والتعليم بالذكاء الاصطناعي

في عالم يتغير بسرعة، تبرز شخصيات لا تكتفي بالتأقلم، بل تصنع التغيير. من قرية صغيرة في عكار، شمال لبنان، خرجت نورا المرعبي تحمل في يدها الحلم، وفي قلبها التصميم، لتغيّر الصورة النمطية للمرأة، ولتثبت أن القيادة لا تنحصر في المدن الكبرى ولا في الأطر التقليدية، بل تنبع من الإيمان بالقدرة على التأثير.

منذ بداياتها، وضعت نورا التعليم والتكنولوجيا في صلب رسالتها. اختارت أن تؤسس لمستقبلها العلمي عبر ماجستير في إدارة الموارد البشرية من الجامعة اللبنانية، ثم تابعت التخصص في الحوكمة الإلكترونية من أثينا، وأكملت تعليمها الأكاديمي في الإدارة الاستراتيجية والابتكار من إحدى كليات الأعمال الدولية في لندن. هذا المزيج من المعرفة مكّنها من فهم عميق لكيفية قيادة التغيير وبناء مؤسسات مرنة وقادرة على التكيف مع التحولات الرقمية.

منذ اللحظة الأولى في مسيرتها المهنية، كانت نورا في موقع القيادة. تولت مسؤوليات رفيعة في مؤسسات تعليمية وتكنولوجية محلية وإقليمية، وأشرفت على تنفيذ مشاريع استراتيجية في التحول الرقمي، وتطوير المناهج، وتمكين المؤسسات من دمج التكنولوجيا في صلب عملياتها التعليمية والإدارية. قادت فرق عمل، أدارت شراكات دولية، وصاغت حلولاً مبتكرة لتحديات معقدة، واضعة نصب عينيها هدفًا واحدًا: التعليم للجميع، وابتكار يعبر الحدود.

وقد كانت مشاركتها في برنامج Tech Women- نقطة تحول مفصلية. هذا البرنامج، الممول والمنظم من وزارة الخارجية الأمريكية، يجمع قيادات نسائية بارزة من أكثر من 20 دولة حول العالم في مجالات التكنولوجيا والهندسة والعلوم، لتبادل الخبرات والتعلم من النماذج العالمية. شاركت نورا كممثلة عن لبنان والعالم العربي، وخاضت تجربة غنية في وادي السيليكون، تعلمت فيها من كبرى الشركات التكنولوجية، ونسجت علاقات مهنية مع قيادات ملهمة. لم تكن مشاركتها مجرد محطة مهنية، بل كانت إعلانًا عن حضور نسائي عربي قادر على المنافسة والابتكار عالميًا.

إيمانًا منها بأن الريادة الحقيقية ترتكز على خدمة المجتمع، أسست نورا الجمعية اللبنانية الفرنسية للعلوم التقنية، وهي جمعية تعمل على نشر الثقافة الرقمية والعلمية، وتمكين المجتمعات المحلية – وخصوصًا النساء والأطفال – من أدوات التكنولوجيا الحديثة. من خلال هذه الجمعية، أطلقت مبادرة رائدة تمثلت في تأسيس مركز للابتكار داخل مدرسة رسمية في قريتها في عكار، ليكون مساحة مفتوحة للتلاميذ للتعلم والتجربة، وتطوير مهارات التفكير الإبداعي والتقني، وربط الريف اللبناني بالعالم الرقمي.

وقد تُوّج هذا المسار المهني والمجتمعي بإطلاق شركتها الخاصة: NorthBeam AI ، وهي منصة استشارية وتقنية متخصصة في الذكاء الاصطناعي والتحول الرقمي.

 تأسيس NorthBeam AI - لم يكن مجرد مشروع أعمال، بل رؤية استراتيجية تهدف إلى مرافقة المؤسسات التعليمية والشركات في تبني الذكاء الاصطناعي بطريقة مدروسة وإنسانية. تقدم الشركة خدمات استشارية متقدمة، تدريب على المهارات المستقبلية، تصميم خرائط طريق رقمية، وتدقيق للأنظمة الذكية بما يتلاءم مع احتياجات كل مؤسسة. تمثل الشركة اليوم امتدادًا طبيعيًا لمسيرة نورا، حيث تدمج بين الريادة والقيادة والمعرفة.

إلى جانب أعمالها، تعمل نورا كمرشدة- Mentor

 مع  منظمات محلية ودولية، مرافقة شبابًا ونساء في بداية مسيرتهم المهنية، وتساعدهم على تحويل أفكارهم إلى مبادرات واقعية، كما تشارك في لجان تحكيم محلية ودولية، وتسهم في تطوير برامج التعليم والابتكار.

كما تشغل دورًا استشاريًا في الاتحاد العربي للإنترنت والاتصالات – جامعة الدول العربية، حيث تساهم في صياغة الاستراتيجيات الرقمية على المستوى العربي، وتعمل على ربط المبادرات الوطنية ضمن رؤية تكاملية تعزز الاقتصاد الرقمي والتنمية المستدامة.

اهتمامها العميق بالاستخدام الأخلاقي والإنساني للتكنولوجيا جعلها صوتًا فاعلًا في الساحة الرقمية. تؤمن أن التكنولوجيا ليست هدفًا بحد ذاتها، بل وسيلة لبناء إنسان أكثر وعيًا، ومجتمع أكثر عدالة. تعمل على نشر الوعي الرقمي، والأمان السيبراني، وتدريب الفئات المهمشة على الاستفادة الآمنة والمسؤولة من العالم الرقمي.

مسيرتها الغنية بالتحولات والتجارب أثمرت عن جوائز وتكريمات، أبرزها من الاتحاد الدولي لجمعيات المخترعين في جنيف، واختيارها في برامج عالمية لدعم القيادات النسائية. كما قادت مشروع Digi-Health الممول من الاتحاد الأوروبي، والذي ساعد في تدريب أساتذة في مجالات الصحة والصيدلة على دمج التكنولوجيا الرقمية في المناهج، وتم توسيعه إلى دول إضافية.

نورا المرعبي اليوم ليست فقط امرأة لبنانية نجحت في كسر الصور النمطية، بل نموذج يحتذى به في القيادة النسائية العربية. قصة نورا تلهم لأنها ليست قصة استثناء، بل قصة تصميم. من قرية صغيرة في الشمال، صنعت لها مكانًا في المشهد الإقليمي والدولي، حاملة معها قضية، ورؤية، والتزامًا لا يتغير: أن الابتكار والتعليم هما الطريق نحو المستقبل، وأن المرأة حين تُمنح الفرصة، تصنع المستحيل.

The Innovator Who Never Stops... Nora Al Merhabi... Leader of Digital Transformation and AI Education

In a world that changes rapidly, personalities emerge who do not just adapt, but make the change. From a small village in Akkar, North Lebanon, Nora Al Merhabi came out holding the dream in her hand, and the determination in her heart, to change the stereotypical image of women, and to prove that leadership is not confined to major cities nor to traditional frameworks, but stems from the belief in the ability to influence.

Since her beginnings, Nora placed education and technology at the core of her mission. She chose to establish her academic future through a Master's degree in Human Resources Management from the Lebanese University, then pursued specialization in e-Governance from Athens, and completed her academic education in Strategic Management and Innovation from an international business college in London. This blend of knowledge enabled her to have a deep understanding of how to lead change and build flexible institutions capable of adapting to digital transformations.

From the first moment in her professional career, Nora was in a leadership position. She assumed high-level responsibilities in local and regional educational and technological institutions, and supervised the implementation of strategic projects in digital transformation, curriculum development, and enabling institutions to integrate technology into the core of their educational and administrative operations.

She led work teams, managed international partnerships, and formulated innovative solutions for complex challenges, keeping one goal in mind: education for all, and innovation that crosses borders.

Her participation in the TechWomen program was a pivotal turning point. This program, funded and organized by the US Department of State, brings together prominent female leaders from more than 20 countries around the world in the fields of technology, engineering, and science, to exchange experiences and learn from global models. Nora participated as a representative of Lebanon and the Arab world, and had a rich experience in Silicon Valley, where she learned from major technological companies, and built professional relationships with inspiring leaders. Her participation was not just a career station, but an announcement of an Arab female presence capable of competing and innovating globally.

Out of her belief that true leadership is based on community service, Nora founded the Lebanese-French Association for Technical Sciences, an association that works to spread digital and scientific culture, and empower local communities – especially women and children – with modern technology tools. Through this association, she launched a pioneering initiative which was the establishment of an innovation center inside an official school in her village in Akkar, to be an open space for students for learning and experimentation, and developing creative thinking and technical skills, connecting the Lebanese countryside with the digital world.

This professional and community path was crowned by the launch of her private company: NorthBeam AI, a consulting and technological platform specialized in Artificial Intelligence and digital transformation. The founding of NorthBeam AI was not just a business project, but a strategic vision aimed at accompanying educational institutions and companies in adopting AI in a thoughtful and humane manner. The company offers advanced consulting services, training on future skills, designing digital roadmaps, and auditing smart systems in line with the needs of each institution. 

The company today represents a natural extension of Nora's journey, where it combines entrepreneurship, leadership, and knowledge.

In addition to her work, Nora works as a Mentor with local and international organizations, accompanying young people and women at the beginning of their professional career, and helping them turn their ideas into practical initiatives, and also participates in local and international arbitration committees, and contributes to the development of education and innovation programs.

She also holds an advisory role in the Arab ICT Union – League of Arab States, where she contributes to formulating digital strategies at the Arab level, and works to link national initiatives within an integrative vision that enhances the digital economy and sustainable development.

Her deep interest in the ethical and humane use of technology has made her an active voice in the digital arena. She believes that technology is not an end in itself, but a means to build a more conscious human being, and a more just society. She works to spread digital awareness, cybersecurity, and train marginalized groups to safely and responsibly benefit from the digital world.

Her journey, rich in transformations and experiences, has resulted in awards and honors, most notably from the International Federation of Inventors' Associations in Geneva, and her selection in global programs to support female leaders. She also led the Digi-Health project funded by the European Union, which helped train professors in the fields of health and pharmacy on integrating digital technology into curricula, and was expanded to additional countries.

Nora Al Merhabi today is not only a Lebanese woman who succeeded in breaking stereotypes, but a role model for Arab female leadership. Nora's story inspires because it is not a story of exception, but a story of determination. From a small village in the North, she made a place for herself on the regional and international scene, carrying with her a cause, a vision, and an unwavering commitment: that innovation and education are the path to the future, and that when a woman is given the opportunity, she achieves the impossible.
