تعود البداية إلى محافظة الشرقية حيث التحق بكلية الحقوق جامعة الزقازيق وحصل على الليسانس بتفوق عام 2004 لتكون بداية المسيرة.

انطلقت المسيرة العملية للمستشار شادي خليفة في السلك القضائي منذ ما يقرب من عقدين من الزمان. بدأها معاونًا للنيابة العامة متدرجًا فى درجاتها مكتسبًا خبرات قضائية واسعة شملت نيابات الإسماعيلية والمنصورة الكلية. ثم تولى إدارة عدد من النيابات لسنوات وهى نيابة قسم ميت غمر، ونيابة السنبلاوين، ونيابة مرور مدينة نصر.

بعد سنوات من العمل المتميز في النيابة، ارتقى منصة القضاء ليعين قاضيًا بالمحاكم الابتدائية، ثم تدرج ليصبح رئيسًا بهذه المحاكم، مُصدِرا أحكامه في محاكم الإسماعيلية وجنوب القاهرة، ونُدب للعمل بالمكتب الفني لمحكمة النقض، واخيرًا قاضيًا بمحكمة استئناف المنصورة.

تكمن القوة الحقيقية للمستشار شادي في دوره الريادي في العمل النقابي القضائي،  لقد سطر المستشار شادي اسمه بأحرف من نور في سجلات القضاء، محققًا إنجازًا فريدًا، حيث أثبت أنه قائد بالفطرة ونموذج استثنائى ملهم لرجل العمل العام. 

تم انتخابه فى 2011  ليكون عضوًا بمجلس إدارة نادي قضاة الشرقية لخمس دورات متتالية حتى الأن، ثم انتخابه فى 2012 عضوًا بمجلس إدارة نادى قضاة مصر لأربعة دورات متتالية وهو بذلك أقدم أعضاء مجلس إدارة نادى قضاة مصر وهذا الاستمرار القياسي يعكس الثقة المطلقة التي يوليها له زملاؤه في كل انتخابات، وما يؤكد دوره الراسخ كعمود من أعمدة العمل النقابي القضائى، وهو ما شهد به القضاة بحصوله على أعلى الأصوات فى أخر دورتين انتخابيتين.

وفي خطوة تاريخية تُبرز ثقة القضاة وتأثيره، تقلد منصب سكرتير عام نادي قضاة مصر، هذا المنصب الإداري الرفيع، الذي يمثل قلب العمل النقابي والإداري للنادي، جعله أصغر قاضي سِنًا يتولى منصب سكرتير عام نادي قضاة مصر، وهو إنجاز يسطر اسمه في سجلات القيادة النقابية القضائية كنموذج للقدرة والكفاءة التي تتجاوز سنوات العمر. ليصبح نموذجًا أسطوريًا للقدرة الفذة والكفاءة التي تصنع التاريخ في سن مبكرة. هذا المنصب الإداري الرفيع هو بمثابة القلب النابض الذي يضخ الحياة في شرايين النادي النقابية والإدارية.

The beginning dates back to Al-Sharqia Governorate, where he joined the Faculty of Law at Zagazig University and obtained his License with distinction in 2004, marking the start of his journey.

Counselor Shady Khalifa's professional career in the judiciary began nearly two decades ago. He started as an Assistant Public Prosecutor, progressively moving through its ranks, gaining extensive judicial experience that included the Ismailia and Mansoura General Prosecutions. He then took charge of managing a number of prosecutions for years, namely Mit Ghamr Section Prosecution, Sinbellawein Prosecution, and Nasr City Traffic Prosecution.

After years of distinguished work in the Prosecution, he ascended the bench to be appointed as a judge in the Primary Courts, then progressed to become a President of these courts, issuing his rulings in the Ismailia and South Cairo Courts, and was seconded to work in the Technical Office of the Court of Cassation, and finally as a judge in the Mansoura Court of Appeal.

Counselor Shady’s true strength lies in his pioneering role in judicial union work. Counselor Shady inscribed his name in letters of light in the records of the judiciary, achieving a unique accomplishment, as he proved to be an innate leader and an exceptionally inspiring role model for a man of public service.

He was elected in 2011 to be a member of the Board of Directors of the Al-Sharqia Judges' Club for five consecutive terms until now, and then elected in 2012 as a member of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Judges' Club for four consecutive terms, making him the oldest member of the Egyptian Judges' Club's Board of Directors. This record continuity reflects the absolute trust his colleagues place in him in every election, confirming his solid role as a pillar of judicial union work, a fact attested to by the judges as he obtained the highest votes in the last two electoral rounds.

In a historical move that highlights the judges' trust and his influence, he assumed the position of Secretary-General of the Egyptian Judges' Club, this high administrative post, which represents the heart of the Club's union and administrative work. This made him the youngest judge in age to hold the position of Secretary-General of the Egyptian Judges' Club, an achievement that inscribes his name in the records of judicial union leadership as a model of capacity and competence that transcends the years of age.
